Since there is no funding source written into proposition 200, the people that have been bankrolling it are, of course, going to be supportive of the future sales tax, property tax and impact fee increases that will be necessary to fund it, right?

I mean, it would only be the right thing to do.

Do the people really support this initiative?

From the City of Tucson Clerk’s website, the campaign finance report from the Public Safety First Initiative, shows that a total of $1,680 in payments was made to the Clerk’s office for arguments in support of their boondoggle. Fourteen arguments were submitted in favor, ten against, of which seven were bought and paid for.

More Moolah for Carol Zimmerman!

The latest campaign finance report is out and filed with the Tucson City Clerk’s office and the Public Safety First Initiative is raking in the dough, to the tune of $197,393.

Dear readers, some citizens, sort of, have actually given donations, ranging from $1 – $50, and their occupations, bankers, realtors, loan officers and loan brokers, those nefarious types who got this country in the financial trouble it is in now!!!

From the last update on this subject from a couple of weeks ago, another $12,000 has gone into the pocket of Carol Zimmerman with Zimmerman and Association for her “services,” bringing her haul to $80,677.13.
